THEIR HISTORY - Pastor James and Matisha Hamilton are a dynamic duo as they teach, preach, and enjoy living the word of God out loud!  Married for twenty years, saved for more than 40 years combined, and serving in ministry together for 21 years, the two are excitedly fulfilling the call to “Build the heart of God in the earth”.  After receiving salvation, Pastor James received the call to teach the word of God.  Pastor James is an avid reader and a prolific thinker.  Over the years God has developed a profound teaching ministry within him.  The teaching ministry led him to later receive the call to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. Pastor Matisha served as a licensed minister in the Church of God of Prophecy (COGOP) and an Associate Pastor both at State Street Community Church, COGOP under the leadership of Bishop Caswell Leonard and briefly at Greater Vision Worship Center COGOP.  Ministering in and outside of the United States her ministry and passion lies within the walls of deliverance. Licensed and ordained through Greater Love Fellowship Church they chartered ABBA Worship Center, a non-denominational ministry where they serve a multi-racial sect of people from all socio-economic backgrounds. 

 

THEIR CAREERS - Both Pastors’ work experience carries a strong emphasis on entrepreneurship.  As a veteran leader, Pastor James served in the US Army.  He has been a leader in the entrepreneurial arena for twenty-three years and he currently serves as CEO and owner of a Wealth Planning and Management company.  Pastor James is also a certified John Maxwell Leader and Teacher. For fifteen of the thirty years that Pastor Matisha served in the human services arena she developed a CARF certified Behavioral Healthcare company that served families and persons challenged with severe and persistent mental illness, developmental disabilities, substance-addicted, and the homeless.  Licensed to serve in over 42 counties of North Carolina, this company offered employment to a little less than 500 people.  She retired to enter full-time ministry.  Their knowledge gleaned in the secular world has prepared them to empower and pour-back into the Kingdom of God and His people for such a time as this.  

 

THEIR LOVE - The two delight in loving and serving God’s people and introducing that great light that shines through the gospel of Grace to those who sit in darkness.  Together they have one lovely daughter and two sons.  They love family, fellowshipping with others, and motivating others to become the best them that they can be.
